Easter candy is some of the most polarizing holiday candy. People have so many strong opinions about Peeps, Cadbury Creme Eggs, jellybeans… I’m curious to know how you feel about all the popular Easter candies.
Would you rather throw Peeps into the toilet? Or have their newer “filled” and “dipped” varieties won you over? Or maybe you like the fact that they remind you of Harry Styles?
Are Cadbury Creme Eggs too sweet? Is the egg-shaped Reese’s really the best holiday-shaped Reese’s of all shaped Reese’s? And which jellybean brand is the best jellybean brand?
Let’s discuss!

Real surprised no one has jumped in to defend their preferred jelly bean brand here. I'm gonna go ahead and say this: Brach's Speckled Jelly Bird Eggs > Jelly Belly.

Cadbury Milk Chocolate Mini Eggs. No other Easter candy need apply. The most perfectly thin, crunchy shell and melt away chocolate is *chef’s kiss*. Although, I confess to actually enjoying the marshmallow pillows that are Peeps.
I'm 100% anti-Easter candy (and it's not just because I'm Jewish). I'm usually an equal-opportunity sugar fiend, but Peeps are basically lumps of colored foam (better for exploding in your microwave than for consuming) and Cadbury eggs are indeed way too sweet for my taste. Egg-shaped Reese's are legit but that's just because they're straight-up Reese's in a different shape! Very lazy Easter candy, IMO.
Discussion: Let's Talk About Easter Candy!
I am one of those weird people who LOVES black jellybeans! Dutch people understand the beauty of black licorice!

I very much miss whopper eggs. Not robin eggs, the version without the candy shell. I don’t like that part, it gives them a chalky, gritty texture.
Second place are Russell Stover Easter eggs in maple cream or strawberry cream. So sweet your teeth hurt, but they are tradition!
I like Cadbury cream egg minis, which are hard to find but do exist. Eating a whole, larger egg is a bit much for me in one go now.
