Brooklyn-based rock band Worriers were just one show into their 2020 tour when COVID-19 shut everything down. 

The band’s latest full-length You or Someone You Know was released on March 6, just five days before the World Health Organization declared COVID-19 a pandemic. BAM! Quarantining. Social distancing. No concerts. No hugs. No normalcy for going on 19 long months.

Turns out You or Someone You Know was an eerily fitting soundtrack for the first year of a pandemic. In the opening track, a melodic punk tune aptly titled “End of the World,” singer/guitarist Lauren Denitzio is trying to hold together a relationship while facing life’s endless stream of obstacles.
